The federation of Blackburn with Darwen GP surgeries is offering primary care urgent appointments for locally registered patients.

Phone lines will be open from 9:30am until 1:30pm.

Clinic sessions will run between 10am and 2pm on Monday 4th May & Monday 25th May Bank Holidays.

Please make use of this service instead of going to hospital for primary care problems.

Please note that repeat prescriptions and sick notes will not be issued on these days.

These appointments can only be booked by dialling the telephone number above on the day. This is not a walk in service.

Important Notice  

All GP practices in Blackburn with Darwen will be closed on Wednesday 24th June l 2026 from 1:00pm to 6:30pm for Protected Learning Time.  This dedicated time enables our teams to undertake essential training, service development, and staff wellbeing activities, helping us continue to deliver safe, high‑quality patient care.

If you have an urgent medical need that cannot wait until the following day, please contact NHS 111, where appropriate arrangements are in place for urgent triage. 

For all routine enquiries—including results, appointments, prescriptions, and general queries—please contact the surgery on Wednesday 29th  April.
