Administration

Carla - Practice Manager

CarlaCarla is involved in managing all business aspects of the practice such as making sure that the right systems are in place to provide a high quality of patient care, human resources, finance, patient safety, premises and equipment and information technology. Carla supports the GPs and other medical professionals with delivering patient services and also helps to develop extended services to enhance patient care. 


 

Nicola - Admin Support

CarlaNicola is responsible for providing administrative support and works closely with the Practice Manager.


 

Michelle - Reception Supervisor 

MichelleMichelle is responsible for ensuring that the reception runs smoothly on a day to day basis.  She is also the first point of contact for any queries regarding referrals and is the Carers Champion for Brownhill Surgery. 


 

Reception

Patricia

PatriciaPat deals with queries relating to referrals and is responsible for all incoming and outgoing medical records.  


 

Shirley

ShirleyShirley carries out all aspects of reception duties.  


 

Jane 

JaneJane carries out all aspects of reception duties. She is also the Cancer Champion for Brownhill Surgery.  


 

Janet

JanetJanet carries out all aspects of reception duties including cytology recalls. 


 

Suzanne

SuzanneSuzanne carries out all aspects of reception duties. 


 

Nicci

SuzanneNicci carries out all aspects of reception duties.  She is also the childhood vaccination co-ordinator for the practice. 


 
Receptionists provide an important link for patients with the practice and are your initial contact point for general enquiries. They can provide basic information on services and results and direct you to the right person depending on your health issue or query. Receptionists make most of the patient appointments with the GPs and nurses. If you are asked the reason for an appointment it is because the reception staff want to book your appointment with the most appropriate clinician.
